The study’s overall goal is to develop a profile of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in the BRCRN project area’s 26 river systems. CBOs include mainly forest-based user groups such as community forest user groups, collaborative forest user groups, leasehold forest user groups, and community development groups (soil conservation groups). Specific objectives of this consultancy are as following.
- Provide services of hiring, orienting, training, and deploying enumerators to collect relevant information of existing CBOs in 26 selected river systems in province 1, 2 and Bagmati.
- Provide necessary support to CBO Profile Development National Consultant (hired by FAO CO) to develop the CBOs profile.
