The Mechi Poultry (Unit-B) is located at Haldibari, Haldibari Rural Municipality-04 (Former Jalthal VDC-06), Jhapa. Geographically, the project site is located in 26.5382 N and 88.0106 E at an elevation of 85 meter from Mean Sea Level. The project site occupies an area of 5 bigha 18 katha and 16 dhur(Approximately 6 ha). The project site is approximately 20 km south of the East-West highway. Project has been proposed in private land owned by the proponent. The total capacity of the poultry will be 80,000 parent birds (Cobb 500 species) and produce approximately 19.2 million fertilized eggs per year for own hatchery to be established in Duwagadhi, Jhapa.
